Projects

Cycling Advocacy

cyclingadvocacy.bike

A directory of cycling advocacy organizations — local, statewide, and national — searchable by location so riders can find the groups working in their area. Also maintains a comprehensive ghost bike database memorializing people on bikes killed by road violence. iOS and Android apps (React Native) coming soon.

CivicFKT

civicfkt.com

A leaderboard for Fastest Known Times by bike between U.S. city halls and state capitols. Free routing, GPS-verified submissions, ridden by anyone.

Cyclocator

cyclocator.com

Real-time tracking and safety for cycling events. Organizers see riders on a live course map; a rider in trouble lights up so SAG support can reach them fast.

RaceCrewSite

racecrewsite.com

Crew coordination for endurance bicycle races — manages the people, paperwork, and logistics behind a race so the crew can focus on the rider.

MyVeloSite

myvelosite.com

Cycling analytics and training planning built around a worldwide endurance bike riding calendar — gravel epics, gran fondos, brevets, ultras, and stage races. Upload FIT files for power, CTL/ATL/TSB, segments, and live SPOT GPS tracking on long rides.

Go2RE

go2re.com

QR codes that turn real estate yard signs into showings. Drive-by buyers scan and land on the listing instantly — no app, no typing a URL.

PiVideo open source

github.com/cd34/PiVideo

A Raspberry Pi kiosk for National Parks, museums, and exhibits: press a physical button, play a video. Up to seven buttons; uploads and assignments are managed from a browser.

LastWatt open source in development

grid curtailment daemon

A Raspberry Pi daemon that detects grid power loss by pinging a device on the grid side (e.g., a Shelly plug). When grid drops, it dials back the thermostat to save battery and shuts off the water heater unless water flow is detected — reversing those actions when grid returns. An eco mode suggests when to open the windows during normal operation.

gcal-panel open source in development

ESP32 calendar display

A Google Calendar display built on an ESP32 with a SparkFun SerLCD. Shows upcoming meetings with a color-coded backlight that shifts as meetings approach. Multiple calendars (work + personal) merge into a single view.

TOU Rate Clock open source in development

ESP32 electric rate clock

An ESP32 + OLED clock that displays the current time, your active electricity rate tier (Peak, Mid-Peak, or Off-Peak), and a countdown to the next rate change.

Client Work

Cessation Solutions

cessationsolutions.com

React Native mobile app development for a nicotine cessation coaching practice — tools that support the coach-client workflow between sessions.
