grid curtailment daemon
A Raspberry Pi daemon that detects grid power loss by pinging a device on the grid side (e.g., a Shelly plug). When grid drops, it dials back the thermostat to save battery and shuts off the water heater unless water flow is detected — reversing those actions when grid returns. An eco mode suggests when to open the windows during normal operation.
